Family: The Best Medicine

Last week I was honored to have my parents come visit me, as well as my little sister, Hadassah. They went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable and that I had what I needed so that David could get some well deserved rest.

Yesterday, April 16th, my sister, Rivky, came to visit along with my niece, Bailey, and they even brought along Noam and Daniella! It was so nice seeing everyone after two long weeks! It was a quick but very much needed visit!

In the meantime, I continue playing the waiting game, hoping my counts come up soon! My transplant team told me it could take anywhere from 5 to 12 days. I will be going on day eight. I have received multiple platelet and RBC’s transfusions in the meantime.
